This February, our third cohort embarks on an exciting new chapter at Montanuniversität Leoben, where they will complete Module 2 of the Erasmus PROMISE program. This module will focus on industrial mineral processing and bulk solid technology, equipping students with cutting-edge knowledge and hands-on experience in these critical fields.
Why Montanuniversität Leoben?
Montanuniversität Leoben is renowned for its science, research, and education excellence. As one of Austria’s leading technical universities, it offers a world-class learning environment for future mining, metallurgy, and materials science experts.
A Legacy of Innovation
Founded on November 4, 1840, the university began as the Steiermärkisch-Ständische Montanlehranstalt in Austria’s historic mining region. In 1849, Peter Tunner relocated the institution to Leoben, which has since grown into a hub for scientific advancement.
Today, Montanuniversität Leoben is a proud member of TU Austria, a prestigious alliance of Austria’s top technical universities. It continues its legacy of pioneering research and industry-driven education.
As our students step into this new phase of the PROMISE program, they will be immersed in an innovative academic environment, learning from leading experts and engaging in hands-on projects that will shape the industry’s future.
Stay tuned for updates on their journey!
