After an exhilarating 18 months filled with adventure and learning, our second intake students are ready to plunge into the final chapter of their master’s program: their thesis work! They have traversed borders and embraced diverse cultures, and now they stand on the brink of a thrilling new adventure.
Kicking off in January 2025, our EMJM-Promise students will dive into their master’s thesis, collaborating with prestigious partners like Metso, Boliden, and the Helmholtz Institute, as well as at our renowned consortium universities in Oulu, Leoben, Zagreb, or Valparaíso.
This dynamic group of 17 students will tackle a wide array of compelling topics, from cutting-edge theoretical modeling to innovative process development and the scaling-up of pioneering designs and equipment—all within the vibrant field of mineral processing. Each project will be guided by industry experts and distinguished faculty, ensuring rich and professional research experience that will set them apart in their future careers.
